
Trusted Capital Event: Drone Venture Day
The BCDC and the U.S. Department of Defense co-sponsored a Drone Venture Day (DVD) Nov. 13, 2019. This was the first in a series of Trusted Capital events. The intent of these events is to build a network where trusted capital providers and domestic companies can explore mutually beneficial business partnerships focused on national security requirements.
Autonomous Vehicle Demo Day
On Dec. 12, 2019, Texas A&M’s autonomous vehicles and tactical networks research teams worked together to conduct the BCDC’s first large demonstration. During the demo, two ground vehicles maneuvered autonomously through an off-road challenge course, and a Jeep and air vehicle operated autonomously by communicating with each other.
